Lakeisha Monroe
As the owner and director of Kidz R Us Childcare Center, I believe that every child is unique and should have equal opportunities to reach their full potential. I take great pride in helping children of all ages achieve this goal. I have over 23 years of experience in being a childcare provider and I have earned North Carolina childcare credentials from Johnston Community College and further childcare administration certification from Vanguard University. I am currently continuing my education in Early Childhood Education.
Michelle Rodriguez
As the Assistant Director at Kidz R Us, I am passionate about supporting each child’s journey and helping them achieve their full potential. With over six years of experience in early childhood education, including a degree from Johnston Community College, I am dedicated to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for your children. I am excited to continue my career here and look forward to working with you and guiding our children as they reach new milestones.
Shirley Avery
I have worked with children for over 30 years and love my job as an infant/toddler teacher. I have received a Bachelors of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.
Lauren Barnes
With over 18 years of dedicated experience in childcare and an associate’s degree in early childhood education, I have had the privilege of working with children across all age groups. My passion is helping children learn and watching them succeed.
Jennifer Ibarra
I am thrilled to begin my journey with Kidz R Us, which will further my education and experience in the field of early childhood development. I find immense joy in working with toddlers and supporting them as they reach new milestones each day.
Kaziah Monroe
I have worked in the childcare field part-time for over three years and have obtained my credentials in Early Childhood Education. I am passionate about continuing to grow professionally while providing children with a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where they can learn and thrive. I enjoy working with children of all ages and am especially passionate about supporting children with special needs. My goal is to use my education, experience, and dedication to make a positive difference in the lives of the children and families I serve.
Sherry O’Neal
My passion for being a preschool teacher is to create trust so the children feel secure and valued. I enjoy teaching young children, I have been in the childcare field for 25 years. December 2025, I graduated from Johnston Community College and I have various other childcare trainings and certifications. This year, my goal is to prepare the preschool class for kindergarten. I am overly excited about this opportunity. I am grateful that Kidz-R-Us lets me express my creativity.
